Project Overview

This Bucci catalog represents how graphic design can enhance a brand personality. Though designed in the mid 90s, it still looks contemporary. Bucci is a local San Lorenzo Valley company competeting against global giants like Luxxottica / RayBan with oh-so-deep pockets. Our assignment: show how Bucci sunglasses can make a lifestyle fashion statement while offering superb eye protection.

Agency designer Karen Kwan kept the production budget affordable by using as models the company president, his family, his MG sportscar, even the photographer! The use of sepia quadtones for lifestyle shots and full-color images with dropshadows for the product, emphasizes the eyewear styling detail and lens finishes on each model.
